All of the wedding I photograph are special and unique in their own ways, and this was was no different. However this couple tucked in some really fantastic details into their ceremony and reception- even I was blown away. Kayla and Jason met while attending school at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. They were married at St. Mary’s Church with after-events at the Sheldon Museum of Art and UNL’s Lied Center for Performing Arts.
Many creative ideas came from Lincoln’s very talented Stem Gallery team. Not only did they do the flower arrangements, but they played a huge part in creating the atmosphere of the reception. Kayla and Jason’s fantastic cake was created by Sweet Art Wedding Cakes, further catering was provided by Relish, the light show was designed by Cuemotion, drinks were supplied by Meier’s Cork and Bottle, and all tables and linens were rented from AAA Rentals. The whole event was planned with the help of event coordinator, Deb Schulte.
